Foundation Phase:
The following readers are accompanied by activities that promote the development of compassion, justice and respect for all life, through Literacy and Life Orientation. Each reader is available in English and Afrikaans. A set of A5 picture cards which enables teachers and learners to retell the story in another language of their choice, is available for each the readers:

Intermediate and Senior Phase:
- Goosie’s Story (suggested for Grade 4): A 40-page novel with colour illustrations, about a battery hen who is rescued, and finds care, respect and the ability to be what she is – a chicken. Empowers learners to make a difference for laying hens in the world today. R40.00

This video challenges our perception that animals are dumb and simply put on earth for us to use as we like.
