BUY TICKETS ONLINE AT CIWF.ORG
Leading climate change expert to give ground-breaking Lecture for Compassion: The demand for meat and dairy products is escalating globally. Millions more animals face lives of misery in factory farms. Precious food and water resources are being diverted from feeding the hungry to feeding factory farmed animals. Food prices are shooting up. The impact of industrial farming on climate change and the environment worsens. How can we find solutions to this growing crisis? Dr Pachauri's lecture, entitled 'Global Warning - the impact of meat production and consumption on climate change', will challenge our reliance on industrial animal farming systems and western diets. Dr Pachauri will also present his own vision for a healthier, greener and more compassionate world. Following the lecture, a panel of experts, including Compassion's Joyce D'Silva and Professor Robert Watson, renowned environmental expert and Chief Scientific Adviser to DEFRA, will join Dr Pachauri in taking questions from the floor. Tickets for this fantastic evening are £25.00. Book online here: www.ciwf.org/lecture
